Yep, as I recall we mostly discussed about it earlier.
IMHO the crank pulley was modified because of the missing
idle raiser solenoid. Without this compensation the engine
is not able to maintain the idle RPM with compressor engaged.
Therefore they changed the drive ratio from 1:1 to approx 2:1,
this helped the engine, but caused many drawbacks:
- reduced delivery of the water pump
- reduced current delivery of the alternator (constant undercharge of the battery)
- and finally reduced gas delivery of the A/C compressor, thus drops the cooling
So even your vent system is working perfectly, the reduced compressor delivery
not provides enough refigerant to the evaporator.
