Sud Ti S2 prices
Recent sales I have observed on EBay and elsewhere for the Ti S2 indicate a value in the range £2,000 - £3,000 with up to £3,500 possibly achievable for a good but not A1 car.
Although they usually make a higher price, some idea can be gained from the sale of a running restorable Ti S1 in Cilento brown recently sold on EBay for £2,995,to someone on this forum.
Last summer a restorable/running (but somewhat rusty) Ti S2 in red sold for £2,000 on EBay.
A couple of months earlier another Ti S2 in red (in seemingly poorer condition than the aforementioned car) sold off Pistonheads.com at an asking price of £1,750.
Really good low mileage examples of the Ti S2 have made as much as £6,000 in the last 2 years. A black 78 Ti with 19K miles on Pistonheads.com comes to mind in this regard. Maybe some forum members may know more about this car than I do.
For comparison in Europe prices are higher with good Ti S2's asking Euro 5,000 upwards.
Generally, I would say prices have risen as much as 25 percent over the last 2 years and are still on an upward trajectory. This is mirrored by what has happened to the prices of other popular 70's cars such as the Golf GTi MK1 and the RS and Mexico series Escorts. It is a simple case of demand and supply as restorable examples get harder to find and parts get scarce.
It would be interesting to have input from other forum members on this subject as I am sure they know more about the prices prevailing in the market place for than I do.
