Member car:

Had a 33 1.7 QV

I have the same car/year and use NGK B7ES and Magnecor Competition leads (red ones).

Very happy with them.

I agree on the sparks, however I did have some issues with magnecor leads (KV85) the last 2 times I ordered them.
First set I bought for my 33 and loved them
Second set I bought for my mate's sprint, and he loved them as well
Third set I got for another mates 33 and they came badly made - the contact inside the plug on one of them was too far in - away from the spark- and it was sealed, so I couldnt push the lead in and get it over with. Had to cut/shorten the plug so it would make contact.
Fourth set I got for yet another friend's car - car was misfiring, put his original leads back on and it was fine.

I hope it was just 2 cases of bad luck and they arent just using cheaper labour - as they are hand made.
