yes, they're terrible while on the move. just have to average out the reading and hope for the best
at least i will know roughly how much i have in the tank before going out, last year i had no idea so kept chucking loads in every time, ended up with a brim full tank by the end of the day
was going to change all the front bushes for the black powerflex ones i bought, but then when i jacked the car up and looked i realised i'd fitted new OE ones last year
still in very good order.
so i've left them for now, using the excuse that it will give me an idea if they are an improvement over OE once i've tried the gaz shocks & slicks. once i've tried it as is then i'll change them over the winter.
brakes will also be going back to stock 16V setup, for now. again, a more serious look at what i can come up with over the winter should keep interest in the car up while the weather prevents getting out.
an oil change & general check over to come.
have adjusted the rear bearings as they gained a little slack from being run-in.
thought i'd have a look at what i needed to sort out some front washers as it may well be wet at boxermeet. then realised i most likely have bits & bobs in the shed that would do. sure enough i found a pair of sud washer jets, lengths of pipe with the one way valve/diverter, and a washer bag in good condition with a very good pump.
all sorted now if it's wet
adjusted the extra 0.4 degrees of negative camber into the o/s strut. should now be 2.5 neg each side. will check again once back on its' wheels and adjust the track slightly to compensate for the camber adjustment.
dare i say it but...........looks like i'm ahead of the game for cadwell
