kind words all of you, thank you, although I cannot take all the credit.
my stainless tig welding wouldn't grace even my own cars let alone a customer and great mate, that is left to those that do it far better than I, and you certainly wouldn't want any of mine on show!
However, this fabrication, as with all of them, would look just as good going over the roof as they do slung underneath,
and don't worry kev, I edited the really bad bits from your car! ha ha! (as if!
I have to admit, I am really chuffed with this build, as I'm pretty sure that it will be the exact same design going into my own sud and 33, and quite likely RS Fruitbats rally car too at some point.
although the car was good before it has to be said, today its like it has become some sort of Italian Herbie! and come alive!!!
It feels so good, responsive off the bottom, more like a good 8v strong through the middle which it quickly rev's through, and then as early as 4k, the rev's start to really pile on very nicely, with torque rushing in with it.
As we know, neither i have the luxury or Kev the budget to build a dozen systems, dyno'ing back to back to squeeze every last mathematical compromise out of it, but I tell you what, this is the way I want my cars to drive, road and track!
I hope you find it equally as encouraging Kev, and I really look forward to your comments on the feel of it.
As for the sound of it, hopefully this little clip is ready for viewing now?
as you can tell, theres still that underlying rasp, but in the flesh its notably deeper, beefier than the phone recording has picked up,
(thanks to Dad trying to fathom a video application on a Samsung galaxy, bit shakey, he should have put his tea down, and I had to edit a 10 second bit off it where he decided the mondeo that followed me up the hill was also worthy of video'ing!!
enjoy lads, and all comments welcome?
