not entirely sure what will end up on it yet chris, plans are at the moment to use all the stock 33 stuff. did seriously consider going straight in with an omex system but as has been quite rightly pointed out to me it would be better done in stages, stock to start with then the upgrades to come along so any improvements can be felt
wouldn't rule out using carbs but the cost of getting manifolds/carbs etc easily escalates to near omex status but would still be something of a compromise when driveablilty v power come sinto question
there is a ring of 13mm headed bolts for the cover ade but also the long studs that i usually use for holding the engine stand on, the ones that go through the gearbox bellhousing to hold the 2 together. the top one is especially long. not sure if they would be able to be drawn out of the engine block though?
will be in touch is anything is needed
would think we all had similar upbringings shrewi, those of us without the "breeding" anyway
imagine nowadays though if pre-teen kids were left in pub car-parks all evening
PC brigade would have a field day
i said "never" about selling VJM tim so can see the day when it's up for grabs, so first dibs are yours
i haven't forgotten how you helped me out a few years back so it would be a pleasure to return the favour.
really crazy though that the thought has already entered circulation, it's not even built yet! very flattering though
one condition to sale though, it is on a non-profit basis.
so many people have already helped/donated some great parts for this project that it wouldn't be right to make a few quid from it.
if you're interested when it gets done then please do come along to a track day with us and have a go first
that pretty much applies to everyone. i plan on getting out to many track days around the area, cadwell park, donington, malory, snetterton etc. would be great if we were able to get a few members there too, with track cars too where possible.
