Kev, No way did you look an idiot! You looked like a bloke who was having as much, if not more, fun than anyone else out there.
Coppice flat? Think about springs, shocks and GOOD tyres before you do. As Shrew told me (and promptly burst my bubble): 'I noticed you feathering the throttle through Coppice, Ted' - Blimey! What's a bloke got to do to scare that man!!
Kev, no way did you look an idiot, and don't think for one minute than anyone else thought so either, it is exactly as Ted says, you were simply having fun the way you wanted to, and more than probably 95% of anyone all day!
But, no way try Coppice flat until you've sorted the car in a bit more mate! you might make it into Coppice but you'll exit backwards onto Park Straight! ha ha!
Ted, its not like i had time to study your every limb or anything, but given so many laps with you, i was almost as dialled and focused as you were! ha ha!
BUT, if you watch the video back, you'll see me shake my head following coppice and gooseneck a couple of times, and it was in disbelief of the grip and corner speed, it was astonishing!
very very intuitive, and unbeknown to you at the time, you have completely changed my previous misconceptions on how a sud should both handle and be driven, in those circumstances of course!
a new plan is being considered for my own Sud as a result of both my passenger experiences,
being with you in the green meanie has showed me the way forward in the handling components required, and being with Kev made me think a lot more about a cage!
