to answer a few questions:
chris, mechanically ready?
not really. still some wiring to do. the engine has run probably less than 1 hour total. will need a bit more running this coming week before cadwell, i'm NOT puttering around running the bloody thing in, not after the first half hour anyway
john mate, if you only deduct me points for paint in the tyres i will be a happy chappy
that won't stay there for long
ade, i will be using the front spoiler along with the side skirts and plastic arches. all in black
pretty sure the rear spoiler could be teased into line with extra fixings in each end which only have one each at the moment. if not then some shaving could come into play. just i'm lacking time so much i have to do what i can now and leave the details for the winter. there already stuff that i won't get done...
like the exhaust which as shrew says is a stock 33 16V one at the moment.
could chop the tail-pipe a bit, may well do that. and weld a bigger bore pipe on so it at least looks a little less puny
but it will be getting a full, heads back, system as soon a si can, courtesy of the master himself
as i mentioned to shrew earlier tonight, the stilts issue should
be sorted tomorrow, fingers crossed
shrew, the white line between the rear vent and side window i actually quite like
and the gutter will continue along the A pillars as the trim isn't rivetted back in place yet. it continues down to almost meet the wing top
another little job
know you're busy tomorrow mate, wish i could come along and see matty too and his new purchase but this is my last weekend before cadwell. if you want to pop over anytime you know where to come
