The AE 85/6, corrola gt's were the last (european) rwd's for the purpose of this discussion, either 3door hatchback or a 2door coupe, with the brill 1600 twin cam, same as mk1 mr2.
not sure on the gearbox label, i thought t50, but could be m, but its a good strong transmission for sure, drifters love them, including heichi, japans drift king!
my mates at area52 were prepping one with a tuned honda s2000 motor fitted, lovely thing, they'd know about the gearbox i'm sure.
some gt's got a ltd diff too, which would be nice, but i certainly wouldnt/couldnt comment as to wether its a straight forward bolt up for our boxers,
might be worth looking into though eh?
