well, i'm trying to keep calm and ahead of the game guys
not a lot done today though despite the promise of 2 clear days set aside to get things moving, literally i might add!
nipped over towards nottingham this morning to view a potential replacement for the 156 V6. liked it so much i bought it!
on my drive soon, a 156 SW 2.4 20V JTD, the facelift one. should pull the sud ok
a Ti model too, which is nice
but i can't show you all a picture for fear of the boxer boys suicide rate going up due to the hideous wheels it has on at the moment
while in shrew country it seemed rude not to pop over so a quick check and yes he would be about.
better still was the unexpected but very welcome egg, bacon and sauage sandwiches that appeared for dinner
cheers ma shrew, again
had a look at shrews latest purchases, a very nice 147 and a mk3 golf gti in pretty good nick. which one he keeps i'm not sure, mrs shrew will be getting the choice he says but i know which one i'd prefer
faffed about for ages trying to fit a fog light bulb while shrew practically re-wired the rest of the car
then decided i'd better get off home.
rob has been out at cadwell today helping my nephew (his cousin) who was racing a GSXR1000. they had a good day by all accounts, no crash damage and ready for day 2 tomorrow. not for me though, too early a start
so with a couple of hours daylight left i thought i'd better do something, so did get a little done.
exhaust system now all fitted,
handbrake cable all secured in place,
panhard rod bolted in place (cheers shrew for the loan of yours
console bolted in with wiring started for extra switches,
so a little done, but more tomorrow
