yes yes and yes to the above.
if only you could make the same decisive decisions in your own threads! ha ha!!!
my current thinking, largely to do with Ted, and Rodger, is to keep the 1200 box when i go 16v power, for two reasons.
Teds wheels, and Rodgers tyres, will make a smashing set for the occasional track use, but if i go with 33 hubs, i'll go with my big brembo brake conversion, but the 14's won't fit any more, not good.
the 14's should work great with the 1200 box on track, with the 185 55 14 yokies, too right!
my 15's with 205 50 15 will be my road and posh wheels, and help gear it back up a tad for everyday use, perfect.
so, that looks like i might be buying the upgraded inboard brakes from Rodger, which are stock calipers, widened with spacers to accept twin vented discs, if i can convince myself that sticking with that awful handbrake arrangement is the way forward, and that the brake mods are up to where i think the brembo's would have got me?
this is because i'm really getting used to the handling feel of the inboards instead of outboards, but they just don't brake well enough for my style!
oh, plus it simplifies my conversion no end, i hope, and means that i can keep much much more of the cars original Class F kit and history, which would be really nice to do i think.
