maybe is silly question but why all four pulleys are on the same side?
not too sure what you mean mate, but please do ask
maybe the following pictures may help as the previous ones were before it was built up fully pully wise
so tonight i got myself down the shed and finished off all the front end of the engine.
fitted the cam cover properly on the right hand side of the engine as the cam cover housing loops over it, easier to fit it beforehand.
all pulleys fitted and tightened with my patented holding tool
and tensioners fitted now thankfully all with new pulleys thanks to 888dee
front crank pulley fitted so on with the belts. when i took all the crank pulleys and spacers off i tied them all together with a cable tie so i could guarantee them going back on in the correct order, saves trying to remember things
so all the belts on, timing marks line up pretty well considering the skimming so happy with that. turns over by hand a treat.
bit more to build up before it can be called ready to go in the sud, will clean up the throttle bodies and all the water bits & bobs. sump to fit once the oil pump is fitted. must remember to fit the rear crank seal before tightening up the flywheel too
that reminds me, i managed to round off one of the flywheel bolts, anyone got a spare they can pass my way please?
hope the pictures help aitana
