Hmmm, yeah i thought about re-profiling the corners to centre of the top rail of the bumper, but the more i see it, the less i like it with the slant of the s3 headlights/grill etc.
The veloce kit is quite slab sided vertically, more of the agressive nature of the 80's styling, rather than the drag CoE obsessed 90's, and i think mixing them in one area could be a mistake.
I think, like the BLS car, a full s2 front end on a s3 car looks great, and if i knew for sure that the headlamps and indicators will fit into the s3 wings, thats what i'd probably do eventually, so i'll be onto BLS tomorrow hopefully to find out if that is the case.
Alternatively, i may build a splitter onto the s3 cloverleaf original bumper, but right now, i've fell out with it,
i'd got used to seeing that gorgeous veloce front end shape! boo hoo!!!!
anyone got any S2 front end parts going spare?
on a lighter note, my side skirts have had their first bit of primer, and are looking sweeeeet, and ive rethreaded the mounts for my spare cloverleaf boot spolier, so thats ready to fit now too, but might paint it seperately then mount to make sure the boot lid gets a really good coating without any thin spots.
does anyone know who could make a fibreglass version from my original boot spolier? they weigh a ton and i would like to lose the centre support too
