I have been considering adding an extra fan on my radiator for some time now.
Mainly due to the summers here and number of very short junctions/crossroads. Also at the weekends we spend time in our local coastal resort but cruising in 1st gear in temps of 35+ degrees.
My boxer does not like this and sometimes have to turn on the cabin heater
Now a second fan does not fit on the left inside or outside.
The only way would be to move the radiator forwards or backwards a couple of inches.
I was thinking of building of couple of supports to attach to the original supports that hold the bottom rubber mounts.
To move the radiator back an inch or 2 closer to the engine. I have a single crank pulley so just enough room I believe.
Then I could install 2 x push fans in front of the radiator maybe (with a relay set up of course as only 1 can run through the radiator thermostat).
Many taxis here have fitted 2 fans due to the layout of the streets and short runs not allowing the air to flow enough to cool without fan assistance.
Sorry I knew I had posted this somewhere else: (double thread - whoops)
