Well I never thought 33 1.4 ie were fitted with different oxygen sensors. I thought they were the same. This is also because I have owned 3 33, the first was a 1.3 carby with no lambda sensor of course, the next two ones are the Imola version 1.4 ie 1994 with the same type of lambda with the same type of connector...so I thought they were all the same.
Now from what I see online and what I can understand, the lambda sensor with 3 wires and two connectors must be the zirconia type.
From the search I have done it comes out that the type that fits my car, that has the same kind of connector with mine, that fits also some 145/146 1.4ie, must be the titania type.
The connector in my car is original, it hasn't been changed.
Bosh provides the oxygen sensor only for 33 1.4 ie with engine code: AR30755
but my car has this data:
chassis type: 907
so I think the Bosh one doesn't fit to my 33 and is the zirconia type oxygen sensor.
Can someone double check it for me please, if I need the zirconia or the titania one.
Also can someone tell me if my engine is the 88HP or is the 90HP version (I hope I have the 90HP & I'm pretty sure I do
GTV-TB is right, I have that kind of lambda that has been used also for some 145/146.
And that will be the reason why my new lambda sensor never worked as it should and died so quickly, I never checked if it was a zirconia or titania, I never checked witch was the right one for my car. Last time I just got one from Germany (universal) but I never checked this things, and I paid 60 EUR for the wrong one.
You guys are so grate, without you I would never know this information.
Please help me find the oxygen sensor I need, as my car feels like a 3.5L engine and and I can't go on like this burning 20 liter of petrol in the city
