Video not coming up, because I've been trying to upload it for 90 mins and it wouldnt proceed !
Guys, I need your help here on an issue.
I've finally got the time and closed the 16v carb engine that is intended for my Sprint.
The only thing I've got left to do, is to fit the carb mounts/converters from injection, and I'm facing an issue there !
The carb converters that sit where the throttle bodies should, sit too low and they cannot align with the water hoses of the thermostat, like they should !
I've got the plastic throttle spacers that come on the 16v, but even with those, its too low.
Even if I put both spacers on one side, its still a bit lower than it should be, but it may fit that way.
1st problem - the two plastic spacers I've got are cracked and I'll need good ones if any of you have spares.
2nd problem - I dont like the idea of using a spacer over spacer, as there is water coolant going through those.
Is there a different way of dealing with this issue ?
