Spent more than 2 hours trying to put on the roof edge rubber in place yesterday.
2 hours only for the right side ! I cant believe how fussy and hard it is to install one of these rubbers.
With that on, I took the opportunity to start puting rear window frame on, windows and trim.
Note to self:
Correct sequence of puting things back together is :
1 - install the roof line black trim first
2 - then the roof line rubber, starting from front to back
3 - put some masking tape on top of the rear wing
4 - drop in the rear window with metal bracket on first
5 - put the window weatherproof strips on the rear frame
6 - slide the rear frame into position, from front to back
7 - lift up the rear frame and push it in
8 - rear number 10 bolt in first, loosely bolt on the 2 front ones
9 - mount the glass into frame
10 - outter trim from back to front
1- weather strips on first
2- drop in the front window
3- small triangle window in position
4 - then the vertical window guide
5- trim on from front to back.
This is the picture of one side almost done
AND I'm hoping that I will be able to bolt on the front mirrors without any of that on in the way
