I experiencing this strange rotating noise that varies as the engine speed changes in my S3 33. I haven't figure out jet what it is and is blowing up my mind.
I can't describe it for you as it is not loud, I can hear it, but passengers can't. It's noticeable when I drive beside a wall, a lorry or a narrow street with walls beside!!! It is not a whining noise, it is more like a rubbing/scratching/rotating noise that varies with engine speed, I would say it sounds to me exactly like a clutch bearing
noise, but doesn't stop when clutch pedal is pressed?!?!?! It is not coming from any part in movement like wheels, suspensions or other similar parts. It comes from engine or aether gearbox I don't know exactly!
What is your advice, I'm having nightmares since that noise started
I'm also experiencing another kind of problem this time:
If my 33 is cold and I first start it in the morning or after has sit for some hours, everything is just fine...., but if the car has been working and driven around and I stop and then turn the car on again after a while when still worm, the oil light will come off, on again for few seconds and off again permanently. The oil filter I use has a non returning valve, but it could be due to a bad or malfunctioning valve inside the filter or not! Actually this is the 2nd filter in a row that I'm having this problem with the oil light.
WHEN LIGHT IS ON I CAN HEAR THAT OIL IS NOT LUBRICATING OR COMING UP!!!
What do you guys think??
Need some advice.
