And then again back to Alfa problems...!
After fixing the thermostat and cooling system, just getting another problem.
I'm experiencing since 3 days a strange noise I think is coming from the engine
The noise is similar to the clutch bearing noise or kind of whistling (rotating) noise, but is not coming from the gearbox as it doesn't stop no mater if I press or relies the clutch. The noise also varies with the engine speed!!!
I do not get this noise when first start the engine in the morning, it appears when engine gets warm. It is not loud but I know it wasn't there before.
Could this be tappets(it's not that loud, I have experienced ones tappet noise) or they would make noise on start up in the morning also , a timing belt tensioner, even the noise is not coming from the front???
The noise seams to come from the passenger side head of the engine. It is a 8V 1.4ie
I'm confused and I can't afford for the moment an engine or other engine part rebuild.
why this happens to me, I change oil & filter every 5000-6000km and I use only Castrol or aether Selenia, no other brands. I'm very careful with the engine and whenever I have the chance to rev it I do so everything runs like a dream, also I haven't notice any loose of power.
I'm about to change the oil & filter today. The oil in it is supposed to be Castrol Magnatec 10W40 and has just 5000km done but I'm not sure if it's genuine or if it could be reconditioned oil also, as I bought it in 4L bottle with no security seal under the cap???
Please, give me some advice, anyone else experienced something similar, need HELP...
