Thanks for the responses! Obviously you, gritsop, don't feel a need to mess with the nylon tubing from the rear to the engine compartment. The piece before the damper was replaced when the car was taken out of storage. It leaked like crazy and sprayed petrol everywhere. The one from the damper to the fuel rail loop wasn't replaced but is probably almost as bad. Do you know if it's possible to replace it without removing the intake manifold?
Since I'm about to replace the fuel filter I'll replace that piece of rubber line as well. I'm going to check the vapour lines around the fuel filler and tank and may leave the ones from and to the tank until then.
Seems that what I need to start with is a piece of 8 mm fuel line. Obviously won't need much since they're all relative short stumps. I have a Würth store five minutes from home so it's convenient. Will also get fuel line clamps at the same time. If I'm not mistaken, when replacing the piece before the damper, it was originally Romablok hose clamps. If so I have quite a few very good around in the right dimension I think.
