getting more power is a vicious thing, very expensive to get real gains, quite expensive to get little gains.
being able to keep the engine in the right rev range is far more important, no use having a peaky engine with loads of go high up then have it bog down when going up through the gears.
not trying to get you to buy my 'box at all, but having more power on standard ratios can actaully be worse than a standard set up.
getting more power from an engine is a compromise, to get more power at say 6k revs will give you less
power at 3k.
being able to keep the engine on song and in the right rev band is crucial with any power upgrades.
try watching a racecar struggling to get of the start line, bog down terribly in low revs so need the close ratios to keep in the upper range once on the move
all stuff you know though
'box is there if anyone depseratley wants it for about the price of a decent rebuild
