So it looks like recalibration is the safest cheap 'n' cheerful option. Or a proper bias brake system. Removing the actuation bar probably works for the Minaris because of their lighter weight/shorter wheelbase.

I looked under Ian's standard ser 2 1.7 33 and you could see at least a 10mm gap between the brake bias adjuster and the coiled bar.
