Twin Dellorto Carbs Vacuum Advance Question
Been a while busy with a new job... anyhow I got some time to finally pay some good attention to my 33. Anyway after replacing a gunged up Fuel Pump I noticed that when I remove the Vaccum Advance tubing from the Left Carb or from the Distributor, nothing happens in terms of idling and engine running.
I checked the vacuum hose and it felt like there was no pressure at all. I don't have a vaccum gauge or tester for the distributor so I can't see if the advance is working, however since I can't feel any vacuum I should first look into this. Is the vacuum on the 33 Carbs so small ? As I was checking for a possible leak I only could hear the Left Carb slightly hissing probably cause the Inlet is on that side too however when I removed the Airfilter Cover it still remained hissing.
Could this cause the Vaccum Mystery, if so any one knows how can I find the leak ?
