damage to exhaust
alright so was ******* down with rain here the other day and going through a puddle and bang. assuming i hit a rock or something similar but it has damaged the sump (scrapped it so thin it is weeping oil out the metal) and squashed a single exhaust pipe just before it goes into the 4 into 1. i am just wondering if this is gonna cause major engine damage i.e. 1 cylinder running extra hot if i keep driving it. i will get new exhaust soon cause you can feel that its damaged and i now have no power below 2500 rpm but im just wondering how urgent it is too get replaced.
on another note i need to replace my cam belts sooner rather than later. how hard is it too do these
and on yet another note when i turn left at a bit of speed i get a strange groaning noise which i think is coming from the drivers side wheel arch. i cant work out what this is im thinking possibly engine mounts because i guess you would call it an anti rock bar had no rubber in it so i made something out of old water hose and it sortof quitened down a bit but not a lot. any other ideas. and clarification of the anti rock bar theres a bracket that bolts under one head and then a bent rod goes through a hole in that and then across to the body/ chassis bar were it hooks through another whole
thanks for your help
