sud / 33 brake options

hello all,

going to turn my attention to the brakes on my sud soon so just bouncing some ideas around in my head....

im def going with the 164 tspark fronts with vectra calipers.. im also wondering if its worth trying to use the vectra servo / master cyl ?

my servo has def seen better days but the master is good..

also is it true 147 rear brake / hubs / something go onto a sud?

is there any other options on rear discs?

just thinking out loud here, any feedback and ideas welcome

I'm going to use the rear disc brakes from a 33 with ABS on the rear of my Sprint. That is a very simple swap, but they are prety hard to find.

While searching for new bearings for those hubs I noticed the bearings of a 145/146 also fit. And I am actually using those currently since they are a lot cheaper as the 33 bearings. My best guess would be that the hubs from a 145/146 might fit to the sud axle, but I am not sure. A 147 is much more modern and I can't see that work.

147 hubs are 5 stud, I think (same as 156). The 145/146 hubs may well fit a 33 (never tried) and they will be 4 stud. As these are Fiat Tipo 16v parts, the problem with these would be that the centre spigot will be fractionally the wrong size.

145/146 rear brakes are a better bet and fit the same as 33s I swapped those on my p4
