Anyone who plans to keep their Sud or 33 should consider an alloy tank as they are very rust prone. Having said that the best tank I have out of three is the oldest from the 1976 Ti. I will use it to replace the rotten tank on the 1979 Sprint, which has a fiberglass repair from the previous owner, as its still looks OK, well on the outside anyway.( I bought a new tank for the Sud about ten year ago when there were still a few available.) Before anyone says, what about the return pipe on latter cars. I will connect that to the vent pipe with a T piece.
That,s my way of saying I will be interested to see how much these replacement tanks will be going for.
