Hi Al hope you don't mind me adding a sud set up?

Here's our effort liam, we made a complete new gear stick and bracket to fit directly to the sud set up... It worked very well off the car with a very nice quick shift but was never tested properly as it catches the front of the floor appature. We also made new solid selector rods but the bigger one was done first and i suspect is way too heavy for the job, the second smaller one should be good to incorporate but you'd have to fabricate an end to atatch to the selector at the gear box end. I was going to make a sleeve type with a pin but never got round to it... The atatchment on the gear stick could be shortened if the rod was used as there's plenty of length to play with... Then there shouldn't be any problem clearing the tunnel apparture...

Looks like you put a lot of time into it, tidy, got a couple of ideas myself, going to have a play about, nearer the time, be interesting to now who has developed the shortest throw when selecting.
