yeh and the 145/6 box is only fwd
looks like i'll have to take the box apart and get the insides shot blasted and heat treated.. hmm hassle.
would the internals from the 145/6 box be useful in a rebuild of a good perm 4 box?
the perm 4 box i'm going to use has been rebuilt in the last 3k and seems to be holding up very very well with basicly stock power and not being driven too hard too often.
are there any oils or additives that you lot use to extend the life of your chocolate gearboxes?
also while i have a good thread about mods going....
race stuff. there are peeps out there that race 33's. what stuff do they use? like do they go for dry sump's?
what manifolds do they use, and where do they get em?
race dizzy's or race parts of dizzy's???
do injectors from other alfa's fit the flat 4?
likewaise air flow meters?
pistons? anyone know of any companies that make slightly oversized (like 1mm or 1.5mm) pistons for the flat 4?
metal head gaskets? anyone know where to get some if they exist?
etc etc etc.. anything.
