I was driving to the shops in outer Melbourne (Narre Warren) where there are not many Alfas at all. A bloke atleast 70 years old and his wife started waving to me and smiling from their 1750 GTV (I think thats what it was). He seemed to love my stock standard Alfa Sprint (now sold) and the fact that I knew he was also driving an Alfa.
In Tassie often got headlights flashed at me from Sprints (when driving the Sprint and my fathers 33 P4) and 33s (when driving the P4). People seem to recognise the P4 for the great car it is.
But on the other hand I asked one guy about his car in a petrol station and all he could say was: "Why did they spell ***** incorrectly?"
