Fuel injection pipework
I dismantled the injection pipework from my S3 33. Some pipes had worn because the heat/friction shield was missing and the pipes have been in direct contact with rough metal surfaces (due to them being installed wrong by some previous owner).
I already bought some pipe and heatshield, but now it seems the pipe I bought doesn't bend too well ... even when heated it tends to collapse before bending. So I'm not going to put it in the car.
Instead I found the original part number for the pipes and asked for a price which was around 150eur. Quite a lot for plastic pipes and heatshield foam pipe.
But now they tell me it also includes all the connectors and the metalic distributor thingy on top of the injectors.
Anyone know if this is true?
If it is, the price is not that bad as the connectors and injector holders have been coated with a layer of good old rust.
