Hello from a newbie - and a question
I'm Spooty22 from Australia.
Recently i have become the proud owner of a 1980 Series III Sud' Ti. I was previously a bit of a Suzuki Swift GTi fanatic but decided to move on to a Sud due to it's reputation as a fine handling car. The Swift, while being quick, has a chassis that is shopping trolley dynamic woeful, woeful. The power to weight ratio of a Swift puts a Sud to shame, but overall a Sud is quicker as it's chassis is just so much more sophisticated - sharper, and more responsive (and far less body roll).
Anyway - finding a replacement distributor rotor is proving exasperating. The Bosch Australia catalogues do not list one and the (expensive) rotor i just bought for an Alfa 33 1.5 does not even fit on my distributor shaft.
(Bosch part no. GB795)
My Sud has a 1982 1.5 Single Carb Motor (Australian spec 59kW with Weber 32 DATRA -we had very tight emissions laws out here - the Twin carb models did not make it out here till 1984 and even then they were only the 70kW model!!) The Distributor is a Bosch Electronic JG FUD4.
Please anyone if possible can you help me?? I need a rotor!
