Well i'm hoping to buy a 33 16v soon, which i'll do some development work on for my version and take on the manifold pipework.
that'll be much easier than borrowing someiones car or using the first customers car to do it all on, and i'm dead excited about it too, its been ages since ive had a boxer!
Just got to get rid of my 156 JTD if you know anyone chaps?its in the classifieds.
One thing i can tell you though, is that i wont be going anywhere near the 2.5" rack of pipe for the manifold build, i really don't think thats the right size for an engine like this, and as far as i'm concerned it would be detremental to gas speed and scavenge, i fail to see how that size pipe would work so early in the system, and its far from our succesful experience of competition manifold builds.
does anyone have anymore on this?, i'm always keen to be shown another way, you never stop learning eh?
