hell yeah i'd say you were doing something right, but my point is that its not just a snake pit manifold alone that was responsible for the figures.
we're not trying to re-invent anything, to my knowledge it appears there is nothing about TOO reinvent, so its more replace i think.
we can't buy an off the shelf performance manifold to suit the variety of motors we run on here, so we're in the process of sorting out a good replacement, or a method of reasonably building the best we can.
the costs of having these manifolds built to spec according to the racers and owners i have spoke too, has been largely more than our road cars are insured for, but its clear from the thread that they are wanted / needed.
so the manifold/s i'm trying to come up with, is something that will suit the like of a stock 1500 8v guys, and then be a scaleable design for folks running larger 16v motors and more radical tunes. not just one design, but as few variants as we can.
there will always be the extremes, AHM,s motor you mention being one of them, my word, what a piece of kit!
but again my point is that most of us on this thread aren't going the Adie route, not for lack of wanting to, mainly lack of funds on my part at least!!!
i want to make the best i can within reason out of my boxer motor for now, with the capacity for improvements later, and having it in T304 will at least be one part on my 90G that isn't going to fade away or fall off
ps - would you like to share how you achieved the figures Tuner?, and any info on your manifold design would be greatly appreciated???
