33 injectors and fuelpipes

Can the fuelpipes going to the injector manifold be changed easily?

What kind of pipe should I get?

It seems the actual pipes are protected with a soft polyfoam "pipe". Most of these have been teared off in mine. What are those for and can they be replaces with any similar material, or do they need to be some sort of heat resistant material etc....?

I also noticed that the injectors have a 2 O-ring gasgets and some sort of a rubber sleeve in the bottom part.

The O-rings are serviceable parts and I already found a repair kit for them, but what about the sleeve part? Is it standard or is it only for them Alfas?

Same injectors are used atleast in some Rover models.
