subaru powered RWD 33

hi lads,

i am planning to fit an soeb enginge in my 33.
there is a lot of RWD and subaru experience round here so i guess you could help me a little

i am not planning to use te 4wd system of a subaru becouse i want to keep the weight as low as posible. so thats why i go for RWD. FWD does not seem to be a real good idea with 280-360HP

well, fitting the engine won't be the biggest problem. the drivetrain will be..

what do you think about this:

subaru engine in front, rear axle from an giulietta 116, 75 1.6 gearbox (sei becouse it has a limited slip diff).

so it will become a transaxle biggest problem here is to create a bellhouse i think?

hop you can help me/ give me ideas!
estimated time for this project is 5 years

don't bother the bad language, I'm just a dutch guy

Sounds like balls ache!

Definitely can be done. I saw an episode of 'Custom My Ride' the other day - they got a new Pontiac GTO (Aussia Minaro, European Vauxhall VXR) and cut the body off chassis and welded a 1969 Dodge Charger on top. This is probably not what your thinking?

What are you going to use the car for?

Why don't you weld the injectors on inlet rail and put twin 40's on after a rebored head then add coil packs, then do all the usual stuff. why go to the elaborate idea first (and expensive?) have you thought about a cheap Eaton Supercharger for about a couple of hundred quid from Fleebay and re-maping ecu if it's power you want?

Yeeeeahhhhhh Kevin... To the Rat Mobile....
