Yes, I was a passenger in the twin engined Sud (engine in front and rear, both with a Sprintex supercharger!), and it was real a monster. Thought he had already flored it, and then he put the pedal to the metal and your neck was going backwards.
He told that the ensurance company would finally not accept it, and he took out the front engine, so that he in fact had a center-engined Sud only.
I still have the Sud, the engine made in 1988 soldiered on until 2005 without being opened (and with extra boost). Finally a piston broke, because the waterinjection valve failed and it was pinking during a race, where I did not hear it.
