Well done Philip
Glad to hear you made it back OK, although not without further incident, it would appear
Thanks for the loan of your parasol, by the way - I left it in the back of the 6C; I hope you found it OK. TBH I spent most of the afternoon sat under a tree on the other side of the parking area, there was at least a bit of a breeze blowing off the A6...
Hi Alf - Ciro must have done his homework, the first thing he said to me when I arrived was "this isn't an Italian car" before breaking into a huge grin!
Its just paranoia now - you're right, education is the answer, but listening to some of the conversations...
Clockwork Orange, Pink Panthermobile, Marcos Mantis, DeTomaso (that's one I haven't heard before, debuted at Sharnbrook), kit car, kit car with a VW engine etc. etc.
I've got the Alfasud badge in the garage, I just can't make my mind up whether to fit it or not. It would help if Alfa Romeo endorsed the project, but I can't imagine how they would react if asked "back in 1978, would you have approved of a kit car using your Alfasud engine and transmission package, and if so, would you have allowed the designer to put an Alfa badge on it?"
