33 engine removal

i'm doing an engine swap on my 33 this weekend - can I get the engine out by itself and leave the g/box in place or is it just simpler to remove both at once ?

When I did my Sprint I lowered the complete unit out the bottom and then lifted the body over the top, took me about 10 hours to do a gearbox swap, new clutch etc and have it up and running again.

ive master the art of dropping my motor now to about 2 hours fully out
but your more then likely going to have to drop the lot just so you can get the spline back in easily to the gear box
