boxer 1.7 16v valves

Hi lads,

I know of an engine mentioned in the title whereby one of the timing belts snapped so one of the cylinders valves need replacing. 3 questions
1) how much each should I expect to pay
2) are they easy to get
3) are they easy to fit
4) should I look to replace any tensioners, calipers etc or can I just replace the belt and valves?

I bought 2 2nd hand valves for 15 not to long ago from bianco, near gatwick, might have been a special price for me as i see them once a week .
If you know the history of said engine and know the tensioners have been changed...
If you don't know the history change it all.

Very easy to change, the 16v head is 1 lump of metal. The 8v is in 2 parts.
The only trouble i had was the front cam clamp was very tight, make sure you push the cam oil seal right the way in so it covers the flat part of the cam and not 1/2 on otherwise it will leak, like mine does.

I used an m12 spline bit to lock the cam pulleys together so you can tighten up the cam nuts.
Have a read of what i did here.
