Help - Fuel pump issue
I have a problem with my 33 1.7 QV 8V (carbs) - 2 series.
The car is being "restored" by me but I am not a mechanic, just a curious self learning man.
Today I found the 33 didn't start because no fuel was being pumped. I thought it was the fuel pump so I took the pump out, but it was working fine.
After getting out the pump I found a small pin in the engine where the pump was attached - I guess its called a push rod - that pushes the pump so it can work.
The problem was when I tried to start the engine with the pump out (to test), the "pin" didn't move so no fuel was being sent to carburettors ... seems like it was stuck.
What should I do?
Thank you in advance for your help and sorry for my lack of technical knowledge
