The profile of this car looks awesome - its like the Alfa 33 has morphed into a Lamborghini Estouque!
I would agree that the front treatment is less successful though. It needs "sharpening up", so that it complements the agressive sharp edged swaging along the sides and back. A more pronounced wedge profile at the front would help too.
You seem pretty handy with a welding torch - how about grafting on the nose from an Alfa 155? That would make the nose look less bulbous. With a boxer engine underneath, a few changes to the alternator placement and radiator design would give a nice low bonnet line... and keep the Alfa shield.
The lack of visual identification on the Rover SD1 was one of the reasons given for its relative lack of sales success - too many people mistook it for a 4-door Ferrari Daytona!
Please let us know how you get on. Your car may not be everyone's cup of tea/sangrea, but its a quality job none the less!
Alfanauts are GO!!!
