Well , on the other hand , the engine doesn't have to be highly tunned to see differences with trumpets. I have installed some long one and i have seen some difference in low rpms. I dont know if this could be more because i found some trumpets for 48'' so they are pretty big but they do accelerate air flow better that without .

One of the things I used to was fit the valves, cam shaft housing and cams from a 95BHP Veloce engine into the later 105BHP GCL engine. This has the effect of having a smaller valve in a larger whole. Have the cams reprofiled to match or just go for something lary...

You also have the beautiful twin lobe cam solution which is miles better then the later single lobe arrangement for many reasons, less inertia, less friction, adjust the valve clearance with an Allen key...

last time I did this was 1991!!!!!!
