That 33 is up for sale!

Guys, I bought more that I bargained for.
Not just the car, but also for my boy.

Alfa Romeo 33 1.7 QV
MOT till 27th August 2010
No tax.
124k miles
Recaro interior
Aftermarket alloys. I've not even looked for the name on them....

Took my boy for a drive and he couldn't get on with the off set pedals.
Prefers his mums Punto for ease of driving, never mind...

So I'll be buying a Renault Clio for my boy. Its gonna be easier to teach him to drive in that and thats what he wanted all along anyway.

Plus I've just bought a house and have six months worth of a building project.
So its too much for me now and I've got toomuch going on.

The car is now in London, if that helps anyone?

Took her to Alfarama for a safety check and inspection before I was to tax it.

I have a list of things that need doing, mostly what I expected.
But some were not as the Ebay seller described!
Not sure if I have redress, buyer beware I imagine?

Engine good, and dry with no leaks.
Body good except the rust I stated in my original link on page 2 of this forum. Named 'New Member'. Plus its missing a jacking point, but that not an MOT failure..
Recaro seats are OK, but the Alcantara suede is a bit bobbly.

Tyre is worn on the inside edge.
Hand brake does not hold sufficiently.
Brakes will need doing along with brake hoses.
Headlight has a crack also.

I do have the list given by Alfarama, but I've left it in my other car which is in their garage till monday. Should anyone interested want the full and correct listing of bits.

It would be worth me keeping it, as the main thing is the brakes, but I knew that anyway. But my boy hates the pedals, as he keeps hitting the throttle when he wants to brake. I guess its just too early for him I guess.

So I need a more 'user friendly' car for my boy.

I bought the Alfa unknown. I've now paid for the full inspection and know she is a known quanity.

Someone with more time than me may wish to have her?

I paid 750 for her. Anyone interested?
