Hi all does anybody know who could plumb in the cooling system in my kit car companys or alfa brainbox (even barking mad nutter) not to picky cheers lee.

The haynes manual has a good diagram of how the waterflow works. Should be fairly simple to do from that.

Hi Lee - that's all I did on the Green Machine, just extended the radiator hoses up to the front using 32mm copper plumbing. Soldered elbows, ty-wrapped to the chassis rails.

I made up some adapters to tee the 15mm pipes to the 8mm hoses from the expansion tank, and a 15mm three-way tee for the other heater branch, but essentially I just duplicated the plumbing in the Haynes manual. It seems to work too - people complain about the weak heaters in Alfasuds, but my heater seems to work fine!

(It isn't an Alfa matrix though).

Not many kit car build-up companies remember the Alfa boxer these days (all Zetecs and Vauxhall redtop). Do it yourself and you'll be sure no one has made pig's ear of it.
