It works just like noise cancelling does, except using electromagnetic actuators. Took Bose decades to perfect, shame it's far too heavy and expensive to make it to market -yet.

As a design engineer, I'd love to work on a project like this. Motion sensing and electromag are among my areas of specialism, so this would be right up my street.

With the handling advantage Alfa boxers have over a Lexus, I'm not sure such a system would be of much benefit anyway - it just adds extra weight and saps engine power (magnetoheliowhatsits require electrical power to energise the iron filings in the damper oil).

This is definately one for heavyweights

Very nice! and what is heavy, expensive and power hungry today - tends to get a lot better very quickly if the demand is there.
