speedo and rpm needles

hi, i have just found the reason my speedo and rev counter are not working properly is that the needles are bent outwards and are therefore touching the perspex/plastic. can anyone tell me if it is possible to access them without taking the whole speedo unit off, or is this a simple proceedure. also, is it possible to buy replacement needles? thanks in advance.

I've had similar problems with my rev counter, but I never considerd it could be the needle touching the clear plastic cover. How can the needles get bent?? Anyways, I'm going to check it out. If you try to disassemble the instrument panel, be very carefull, I'm sure it has a "million" hidden screws and plastic fasteners. When compared to other cars, alfas have alot of extra screws and fasteners to keep things from coming apart wink

Its strong sunlight and heat that bends the needles-move to England you guys and your problem will be solved
You wont be able to buy just the needle, you will have to source a replacement speedo/tacho.

Dismantling the speedo I'snt that big a problem... Pretty straight forward. A full dismantling of the item would take 25 to 30 min. for an untrained person.
