0.8 is recommended on those plugs, we did that on a race car and it ran flat out for 1.5 hours in 42 degree heat (that's celcius, to you wusses who use F scale about 116 degress F) and it seems pretty good,
We run a race called the aroca 6 hour(ALFA ROMEO OWNERS CLUB of AUSTRALIA)which is a relay endurance race, and our team of suds (no i wasn't racing but was pit crewing) we had 3 suds carrying it out in 42 degree heat (well but our fastest one blew something early in the race and one the day before) and we change one to ngk bp6es because it was missing i gapped the to 0.8 and it was the car that carried us home to 3rd in handicap and about 18th out of 34 outright.
So believe me it does work well
