On my 33 when I had to replace slve cylinder the trick was to offer up the circlip in expanded condition to the aperture BEFORE sliding slave cylinder through and then releasing circlip. It did take a while for me to twig this one but it works!</strong><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">hehe, we tried this too, to no avail. he finally had to go and grind part of the circlip, because it was rubbing with the engine. after grinding it went in, no probs.
btw, the clutch problem wassnt the flywheel sticking to the pressure plate it seems. after a lot of thinking, he started suspecting that the new slave cylinder did not travel the same distance as before, and he was right! so he replaced the rod (between the piston and the lever going into the gearbox) with a taller one, and it worked!
who needs mechanics i say..
