Greetings, fellow alfa lovers,
I own a '92 33 16v.
I love the car, it's fabulous, with lots of power, great handling, etc.
But I've had some trouble...
I bought the car last year, and the dealer told that the cambelts had been changed... Total nonsense... A few months ago they broke...
Luckily the car had a 1 year warranty... so it was repared.
Eversince i've had a problem that has gone worse during the summer. After the engine heats up a bit in heavy traffic, and after the fan starts up a few times, the car simply shuts down and won´t start... I have to wait a few minutes, and then it will start.
I'm getting worried, and i don´t know what to do...
Does anybody now anything about this...?
Does this car have any kind of overheating protection that makes the engine shut down?
I have another question, is it worthwhile installing a high flow air filter on this car?
