i have drived a sud with power steering and i belive it was way too light, not like it's heavy without it anyway, the steering in my sud is lighter than it my ford fairmont company car so i couldn't be bothered even attempting it anyway, however i believe it is neccesary to put it at full lock when bleeding my powersteering system.
My mate who works at a 4x4 workshop (doesn't really get alfa's)does this but only for as long as neccesary and he's had bad experinence with power steerting as we were doing donuts in his parents tarago and blew two hoses (we were impressed for two reasons 1 tarago's actually do donuts!!!!!
2 we did such a good job of the hoses
and thaks for staring a new thread i think air cleaners got a bit carried away!!!!
